I'm Nikki. You can tell a lot about a person by reading their journal. -_- So if you wanna know what kind of person I am, just read it. It's basically just a summary of anything note-worthy that happened that particular day. I try to update it at least two or three times a week, but ask anyone I know, I'm bad at keeping up with things on a regular basis.
I'm working on it though. It's coming along well. ^_^
So. About my journal's title and sub-title. 'It's Just a Broken Lullaby' is a line from the song Bye Bye Love by The Cars. I like it. ^_^ But if I'm using it as a title for my journal. I'm assuming you guessed that.
As for the title of my friends page, that is a line from the song Rage Your Dream by Move. It loosely translates to 'not changing even if the world is broken.' Well, according to a lyrics site anyway. I wouldn't put my absolute faith in it though. But I think that describes my friends. Not necessarily my livejournal friends, but just my friends in general. ^_^
This is my motto: Embarrassment isn't a possibility, it's an inevitability.
In my interests, it's hard to be specific when LiveJournal has a 50 letters/4 words rule, so if you want to know what specific anime/manga/music/movies/books/whatever I like, just ask.
And a quick note: I'm a grammar/spelling/punctuation whore. If you see any mistakes in my entries (and there will be some, unfortunately, as I'm a quick typer and my computer is slow as slugs), please point them out to me!
I usually catch them though. ^_^
Anyway, my entries usually revolve around karate (yeah, I kick ass on a daily basis ^_^), school, family, etc. I'm just a high-schooler after all; my entries rarely get too deep. Which is strange, because I can be a very deep person. Yet for whatever reason, I can't remember ever typing a deep entry...
Mystery...
I know I sound like I'm insane or very, very stupid, but I'm really not. My thoughts just kinda fly all over the place, and I type them as they are instead of trying to organize them. I can organize them at school, where I have to. Why bother here? This is for my own enjoyment anyway. ^_^
Okay, in all honesty, it's because I'm flakier than a croissant. But whatever. That's just how I am. ^_^
P dot S dot: The titles to my entries are lyrics from whatever song I am currently listening to, in case you hadn't noticed. (For those of you who did without reading this first, yay for you. I'm very impressed. ^_^)
